Access the Start Menu: Press the Windows key on your keyboard to open the Start menu.
Search for Registry Editor: Simultaneously press the Windows key and “S” to open the search bar. Type “Registry Editor” into the search field.
Launch Registry Editor: Click on the Registry Editor app from the search results. If prompted by User Account Control, click “Yes” to allow the app to make changes to your device.
Navigate to File: Once in the Registry Editor, go to the top menu and click on File.
Select Export: Choose Export from the dropdown menu. This option allows you to save a copy of the current registry.
